After many years serving as the CEO of a Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio, our Founder Jan Bucholz has made the decision to embark on a new adventure that is filled with sweetness and joy. This shift in her career may seem unexpected to some, but for her, it is a natural progression fueled by her passion for creating moments of happiness and comfort. While her previous role centered around providing compassionate care to individuals and families during difficult times, this new venture allows her to spread love and joy through the simple pleasure of homemade good food.
It all began with a long due visit to her attic and opening the small brown leather case full of secret old recipes passed down through generations. These recipes that carefully handwritten on yellowed parchment paper, evoke memories of simpler times and the comforting aroma of freshly baked treats. From classic donuts to nostalgic cookies and decadent cakes, each recipe was telling a story of love, tradition, and the joy of sharing homemade goodness with others. It would be such a shame to keep this treasure off the daylight and not to share with anyone.
